Nail Art: Pumpkins

I was watching Iris's video on "Making over your chipped nails"
I thought that was pretty creative, haha :P

So I guess this is my version of what I would do with MY chipped nail polish :P
Haha! The one on my index looks pretty messed up! Got a slice on his forehead and everything! :P
What? This is not the result of laziness... this is called "art". :P

My mom's been crocheting a lot lately...
as a result...
Annie Chow sporting a fashionable multi-colored crochet sweater! Tell me that's not cute!
Wonder how she feels about this...
Oops! Bad timing..

Another angle?

HAHAHA! I can't get over how cute this is :P

I Go Bananas for Crepe!

It was a beautiful sunny day today and I got to take a little walk around Japan-town in San Jose with my family.
We saw some graffiti:
Monkey eating a banana?
I took that as a sign! :P
So we all went to try some crepe at "Banana Crepe" :

A very tiny little place that sales different kinds of crepe, shaved ice, smoothies, coffee and tea, etc.
We've walked by there many times but this is the first time we actually went inside to eat something.
The counter where you make your order and pay.
Other end. It was quite busy O_o
Haha! I love how they have so many monkeys hanging around here and there.. My mom was trying to find how many monkeys there were in the store but she lost count by the time she got to 60 :P
My crepe. O_o It was huge! I'm usually used to seeing flat crepes that you eat at the mall and so when I saw my crepe look like this huge cone of yummy goodness, O_o it made me happy :P
I got the "Peaches N Cream" desert crepe: vanilla ice-cream, peaches, whip cream.
These little guys were watching us eat our crepes! :P
I would go back to try their other crepes. I really like the texture of their crepes. I also want to try their shaved ice that a lot of people rave about. :P
Overall, I had a good experience with the food, the ambiance, and the service!
The only complaint I may have is that they accept cash only.
So it would suck for you if you wanted to go eat there and had no cash with you on hand.

Look what I got in the mail today!

My laptop sleeve! :P I was so excited! I love it when I get something in the mail. :P
I got this on ebay (here) just in case you were curious:
I'm actually pleasantly surprised by the quality. The faux leather is nice and looks pretty durable. I also like how the inside is padded and a neon orange color! So fun! :)
I was at the mall the other day and I saw a laptop sleeve which was very very similar to this one and it was $39.99! O_o They only had two colors too; black and brown -__- boring!!!
I'm so happy this is pink :P
This probably sounds sad but this was my highlight of the week so far, haha!
How's everybody's week going so far? :)
Any recent purchases?

Skull Nail Art

Since its the beginning of October, I thought I'd try out some Halloween-themed nail art.
Skull nail art on red nail polish.

I started off with painting my nails with a base coat.
I used O.P.I nailpolish called "Monsooner or Later"
2 coats of "Monsooner or Later" nail polish
I used  nail art pen in "Black" by Sally Hansen
I used the nail art pen to roughly outline and sketch my skull design.
Nail art pen in "white" by Fing'rs

Filled outline of skull using my "white" polish from the Fing'rs nail art pen.
Add details using black polish. I used a toothpick to grab some of the black color from the Sally Hansen nail art pen since it allows me to be more precise compared to using the nail art pen by itself. I'm not too fond of the black nail art pen because it sometimes makes a big mess when I'm trying to dispense the color.
And I ruined the whole design by adding rhinestones in the shape of a 'bow'... HAHAHA!
Here's one with a spider on its head :P
I hope you liked my silly skull nail art design! :P
Do you have some fun Halloween nail art designs? Please share! :P
